Well, you do have to create post in order to have readers! King 5 recently started their own web page which features their blog and they pick up the feeds of other blogs. If they subscribe to your blog, when you write a new post the title and a bit of the first sentence will show up on their site. This has been a great resource of traffic for me! And it's fun to check it out to see what's new for local content. It's almost like reading the Sunday paper.
Since I write for two Seattle blogs (Mortgage Porter and Rain City Guide); if I have two article coming out on the same day such as Friday's Rates, I'm posting one in the morning and one in the afternoon to get the added exposure (plus, rates may and do change these days).
But wait, there's more! The Real Estate Tomato reports that MySpace is now doing a similar feature that Citizen Rain is....picking up various blog posts and promoting them, thus driving more traffic back to your blog. I'm a bigger fan of Citizen Rain, I prefer to be contacted by people who are in need of mortgage assistance locally...but who knows! Traffic to your blog is a good thing...especially when you're not having to do anything but post!
